The inception of The Addams Family was in 1938 with a handfull of cartoons for The New Yorker. This is proof that great art takes time, sometimes generations of re-working, to realize its full potential. Not only this, but great art can live on forever in various forms.
The new “Wednesday” series is done incredibly artfully with Tim Burton at the helm. The scenes are lush with dark haze and the cast is spot-on.
